Talk, don’t type

A ten-minute walk and three spoken questions replace my to-do list.

I think by talking, and a walk I already take carries the habit. Tying a new habit to an old one is the only way I’ve kept one.

  1. Put on shoes, open Rosebud (a voice journal app) and walk.
  2. Answer three prompts out loud: How am I feeling this morning? What’s weighing on me right now? What’s the one thing that would make today a win?
  3. Back home, paste the transcript into Claude Code. It reads yesterday’s log and hands me one to three tasks.
  4. They go into my Apple Reminders “Today” list, whose phone widget runs the rest of my day.

Missing a day is fine. Missing two without saying so is the danger zone.
